Dear family letter
Dear host Family:
My name is Lizbeth. I´m 29 years old. I live with my mom and my three siblings. I´m from Bolivia. I´m single.
I traveled to United States as a cultural exchange student, I could get it and go to California, work at Yosemite Park; I really enjoyed that wonderful experience on winter time. I want to get personal values that strengthen me as a good person with good experiences, qualities and memories. I promise to give my best in order to respond to your expectations.I consider the program to China as a great opportunity to expand my vision, to learn more about your culture, customs and advance in science and technology day by day.Lately, I´ve been working as a particular teacher for children, teenagers and adults. Also, I´ve been working at English Institutes for about 6 years. I really enjoy teaching, especially languages because I love them. That´s why I´ve been learning Chinese and Japanese.Sandrita, Alejandro and Iver are the youngest students of mine. Sandra is 11, Alejandro is 10 and Iver is 9. I consider the patience is a good quality for teaching, and especially in children. Also, I´ve been working in “Save the Children”, an International organization which helps children from different schools. We work with families who live overseas. Each family helps one child and supports the student with some supplies. The main aim is children´s education.
I feel so strong; I can solve my own problems, overcoming my fears. I don’t judge the others by their appearances and acts. I like firstly listen before talking. I really feel like to get a better day than yesterday, to learn from my mistakes. I´m a person that thinks dreams come true as long as we really want to reach them and be prepared to suffer for them.I´m almost sure to continue studying more new languages. I can see we need real teachers who like their work, not only money.Chinese language is my next goal to learn, that’s the reason I want to go to China. I´m so excited to be there and meet new friends and visit different places.Adapting myself in another culture is not difficult for me. I have fun with my friends and I appreciate my loneliness.
I will look forward to receiving your feedback.
